Camden Early Years Development & Childcare Partnership (EYDCP) was established in 1999 in response to the UK government's national childcare strategy. The partnership has a major role in the development of childcare and early years education services in the London borough of Camden.
The Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership (EYDCP) team promotes and develops childcare and early education services. They aim to increase the availability of childcare and early years education and improve the quality of existing services. Camden EYDCP also provides business and financial advice and support to childcare providers and offers help with marketing services and recruiting staff.
Camden EYDCP's role in TEECHE is to support the development of the qualification by providing practitioner input into the need for and development of the qualification. They will also be offering a range of pilot settings.
